19 weeks

Your baby’s sensory development is exploding! Her brain is designating specialized areas for smell, taste, hearing, vision, and touch. Some research suggests that she may be able to hear your voice now, so don’t be shy about reading aloud, talking to her, or singing a happy tune if the mood strikes you.

Your baby weighs about 8 1/2 ounces and measures 6 inches, head to bottom — about the size of a large heirloom tomato. Her arms and legs are in the right proportions to each other and the rest of her body now. Her kidneys continue to make urine and the hair on her scalp is sprouting. A waxy protective coating called the vernix caseosa is forming on her skin to prevent it from pickling in the amniotic fluid.

Taken from babycenter.  According to the ultrasound, last Tuesday I was 18 weeks, 2 days.  Which would mean today I am 19 weeks.  They are saying, I am due March 6th.  Which I would like to avoid that date if possible.  That was my grandmother’s birthday, long story.

I wear all maternity clothes, although my jeans are a bit big.  I have had heartburn some but I drank a lemonade yesterday, the only one  have had while pregnant not doing that one again.  I normally don’t really like lemonade anyway. Some round ligament pain, not as bad since I saw the chiropractor.  The rest of the pregnancy symptoms I won’t discuss.  With R, I had a 4 month-long sinus infection. Yeah, it stunk.  I have felt better this pregnancy, for the most part.
