24 weeks

I am sick, at the moment without much of a voice.  My ob/gyn who is a wonderful dr I might add, called in a antibiotic.  So no sitting in a drs office for me.  I am very thankful for him, and his staff.  Baptist hospital has been very good to us!  No, I don’t recommend the usage of medication while pregnant.  Unless, it is NEEDED.  Unfortunately, I have been the woman who always seems to get sick while pregnant.  However, with this pregnancy it has been way easier.  Thank God!

Your baby’s growing steadily, having gained about 4 ounces since last week. That puts him at just over a pound. Since he’s almost a foot long (picture an ear of corn), he cuts a pretty lean figure at this point, but his body is filling out proportionally and he’ll soon start to plump up. His brain is also growing quickly now, and his taste buds are continuing to develop. His lungs are developing “branches” of the respiratory “tree” as well as cells that produce surfactant, a substance that will help his air sacs inflate once he hits the outside world. His skin is still thin and translucent, but that will start to change soon.  Taken from babycenter.

I am still measuring slightly ahead with Emily.  Although, I don’t have much of an appetite while sick.  I have had no other problems though and she is completely healthy.  I have to take my glucose test in a month, and I am slightly worried about it.  I can drink a caffenine free 16 oz soda, per my drs office instead the yucky orange drink.  We don’t drink sodas though, so it will still be sweet to me.

I still prefer not to eat red meat, and want diary.  I have also wanted anything pumpkin but I think that is just the season.  Robert hates anything pumpkin, while R loves it.

Emily continues to be quite feisty and will now kick hard enough at times that my belly moves.  R was a laid back baby in the womb.  However, I think R as a child is very feisty and always on the go!
